• A pair of gentle doves, symbols of purity and spiritual love, gaze into each other’s eyes and coo softly. Other symbols of love surround them. The birdbath is shaped like a heart, and tiny pink hearts float in the water. Along the side of the basin grows a wild red rose bush. The pansies reference Shakespeare’s Ophelia, who drowned for love of Hamlet: “Pansies, that’s for thoughts.” Within Version 1, the doves’ clutch of eggs is snug in their nest. The eggs are transformed into hearts within Version Infinity.
