What makes these owls especially gratifying is that a portion of the purchase price will be donated to wildlife preservation.

After thorough research, Harmony Ball Company has selected Back To The Wild - a privately owned, non-profit 501(c)(3) wildlife rehabilitation and nature education center in Castalia, Ohio - as the donation recipient. Five percent of the wholesale purchase price throughout 2005 will be sent to this very worthwhile organization. Already, based on booked orders, $2000 has been raised.

Each year, thousands of wild animals are treated at this center, including hawks, owls, eagles, deer, fox, rabbits, squirrels, songbirds, waterfowl, reptiles and amphibians. Every effort is made to return an animal back into its natural habitat. Special permits allow permanently disabled, non-releasable live hawks and owls to be used as educational tools to help visitors understand the most critical problem facing wildlife today - loss of habitat. Nearly 50,000 guests visit annually and are encouraged to take an active role in becoming responsible caretakers of the earth.
