A dream came true for me as a future fashion diva: One of the greatest designers of all time was staying at our inn. Well, it was a dream until it became a nightmare. The beautiful shoes created by the famous Franco del Sarto couldn't be found and he was blaming me for stealing them! It took me and my American friend, who loves fashion as much as I do, to fearlessly fix this fashion fiasco."

Each of the dolls comes complete with one beautiful, high quality outfit. (purse not included.)

The dolls clothing will reflect what is worn in that particular country today, as opposed to traditional costumes displayed on most international dolls.

The books are written in a style that blends fiction and non-fiction, taking the character through an exciting adventure in her home country and giving you the opportunity to experience the story with its own unique combination of landscapes, cultures, celebrations and beliefs.

These high quality, hard bound books are approximately 150 pages in length, and include a journal entry detailing real facts about the country and culture, written by each of the main characters.

Each doll is strung with fully articulated head, arms and legs so they can sit, stand, and be posed in many positions. The clothing and accessories reflect high quality and detail throughout the design and fabric selections.

Beginning with their first purchase, children will activate their donation by entering a unique code on the website, karitokids.com and selecting one of four causes (growing up healthy, learning, habitat or livelihood) where they can make a difference in the lives of children around the world. Additionally , children will earn points by playing games on the website. These points, called World Change, will be converted into real donations that the kids can direct to their selected cause.
