The Forty Winks was first modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1973. Hummel Figurine Forty Winks was first produce as a Trademark 5 in 1973. It has been on the (PFE) Possible Future Edition since it was first sculpted. Forty Winks was also available only to M. I. Hummel Club Members as a 100 Limited Arbeitsmuster Edition. The Hummel Figurine is now available to everyone as a regular M. I. Hummel Figurine.
This authentic Goebel product is an original work of art created by Goebel Master Artists on the artistic vision of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. It is handcrafted and handpainted according to the traditions of artistic excellence established by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik, Germany, more than a century ago. Only a genuine M.I. Hummel product bears the Goebel backstamp and the M.I. Hummel trademark.
