  During the carving of “Jailbird”, it was that time of year in England when birds are sat on their nests and cats are rubbing their stomachs waiting for the eggs to hatch! So Peter felt the need to carve a humorous box where the birds come out on top. . .literally. Peter’s cat has found himself stuck inside a bird cage with his intended victims safely outside. He now needs a good lawyer. The interior of this 1000 piece fixed edition box figurine depicts a wall of shame, with the initials of some fine and upstanding US corporate and political figures who have fallen from grace and need the help of lawyers. Under the sign are the words "UK Miners". Thousands have been fighting for compensation after suffering the effects of coal dust. Many of the miners have received paltry amounts whilst their lawyers have made millions. So they are the exception, as they could do without their lawyers!
