With the recent public concern of lead testing in consumer product safety we would like to share with our customers the required levels of testing that we follow for DEMDACO products. In our effort to create high quality and safe products DEMDACO would like to assure you that we are in full compliance with testing requirements in accordance with the United States FDA Testing Regulations.
For all of our DEMDACO products (Willow Tree, Home, Holiday and Gift) we adhere to all State and Federal guidelines to ensure full compliance based on each individual product category. Two of the most common tests performed check for lead content in paint and for flammability of the item. We also conduct some non-mandated tests to make sure our products perform to our expectations. Examples of these types of tests would be a Sharp Points and Sharp Edges test, Basic Leakage tests, Microwave, Dishwasher and Stability tests.
All of our testing is done by an independent, accredited 3rd party company. We work very closely with our testing partner as well as various consultants to ensure we are in regulatory compliance and that our product is of high quality and safe for the consumer.
